Is the Jetson TX2 already integrated in the drone?

Yes. We provide a serial (UART) link between the Jetson TX2 and flight controller. Our flight controller supports PX4 with MAVROS on the Jetson TX2.

Does the Draco R support an x86 configuration?

Yes, we can do this as a custom order.

What is Draco R’s payload?

Approximately 300 grams in the high-performance configuration (for faster speed and agility). Please contact us if you require a high-payload option.

Does Draco R’s antenna have a transceiver for retrieving video online?

Yes, it is supported but it depends on context. Draco R supports the Connex Prosight for digital input. It supports 720p HDMI output on the ground station. We provide pre-purchase consultation for your customization requirements.

Is SLAM provided?

We do not provide SLAM. Implementation is done by the user.

Does Draco R support 4G (2.4GHz)?

This can be implemented by the user and we provide consultation for this. Draco R does not support 4G natively as every country has a different network standard, and we do not provide a gold standard module.

What is Draco R’s onboard camera resolution?

Draco R comes standard with a WVGA (720×480) for machine vision, but this can be improved with a different camera.

What is the lead time?

Two weeks from the time of order placement.

What is the warranty?

UVify warrants that your Draco R will be tested prior to shipping and will be free from material and workmanship defects. Due to the nature of these components, however, there is no warranty. Use caution during setup and operation!

What is Draco R’s top speed?

This depends on your configuration as Draco R is designed for research/customization. When shipped with the standard TX2 configuration it is approximately 90mph.

What is Draco R’s aerodynamic constant?

This is dependent on the context.

What is Draco R’s max range distance available for video downlink?

Draco R’s Line of sight range 1000 – 3000 ft. (300-1000 meter) when the Draco R is equipped with a Connex Prosight.

What is Draco R’s battery configuration?

Draco R comes with a 4S, 3000 mAh, high-discharge smart battery.

Can Draco R with TX2 hold a LiDAR Puck?

Yes, the Draco R can the VLP Lite Puck.

What types of SDKs are available for Draco R?

We provide MAVROS as a standard communication / control method for Draco R..

Are the SDKs for the Draco R for a control SDK or on-board SDK?

The SDK is on the Jetson TX2, you can also change the flight controller’s firmware using the PX4 stack. Draco R officially supports PX4.

Is it possible to control Draco R from a custom iOS app?

Yes, this can be done via Mavlink. See Dronecode.org for more information.

Does Draco R have the ability to interface flight guidance?

Yes, it can via Mavlink or MAVROS if you are using ROS.
