We’re back with another Community update. If you missed the previous instalments, the Community update is where we share the latest news and product developments. We didn’t release an update last week as we’ve been busy preparing new content and shipping more Dracos. So, what has been going on since our previous update?

Draco Video tutorials are live

Team UVify are please to announce the first of our Video tutorials are now online. We’ve made these Videos to ensure your out-of-the-box experience with Draco is as painless and hassle-free as possible. We appreciate that our customers range from veteran pilots all the way through to first-time fliers. These guides are designed to be easy to follow and ensure you are able to get flying as soon as possible. Our complete series of videos can now be found on our YouTube channel (click here)

Draco Pre-orders

Our Draco pre-orders are still flowing out of the door as quickly as we can package them. As we previously mentioned, we do not charge your chosen payment method until your Draco is being prepared for shipping. We’ve found that a few people may have moved address or had their card expire since the original pre-order date. If you believe your information may no longer be valid, please send us an email to support@uvify.com along with your order number so we can update our records. It’s important to note that the Draco’s being shipped at the moment are the DSMX variant, with our Turnigy variants shipping in the next few weeks. If you have any questions regarding your order, please do feel to reach out to our Support team.

Shipping Tracking

When Draco leaves us, we will get in touch to let you know it has been dispatched. Our logistics partner offers the ability to track your Draco all the way to your delivery destination. To take advantage of this, you may receive an email from our support team asking you to confirm your preferred details for SMS tracking information.

Team UVify Community Update 2

Welcome to the 2nd installment of the Team UVify Community Update

Pre-order update

We are dispatching our next wave of Draco’s to pre-order customers this week and will be doing this as frequently as possible. As you may remember from last week’s update, some of our pre-orders shipments were delayed due to an issue with our third party who provides our packaging material for Draco. Team UVify believe the issue is now rectified and we will be shipping Draco as and when the revised packaging arrives with us. We should be back to normal levels in the next few weeks, seeing manufacturing and packaging align harmoniously, which will allow us to ramp up the dispatch of orders.

Team UVify appreciate the patience and understanding of our customers – you’ve been great! We know you are all desperate to get your hands on Draco and we are confident that when you do, you will love it. Again, we will continue to keep you informed of the order / dispatch status in the coming weeks until we are back to optimal performance.

If you’ve seen our Events section, you’d of noticed that Team UVify will be attending the MultiGP event this weekend. Andrew will be on-hand to show off Draco and answer any questions you may have. Team UVify Community Update 1

Welcome to the first Team UVify Community Update!

As part of our committment to keeping our customers and fans up-to-date on UVify, we’ll be doing regular Community update posts to deliver you important information and developments regarding our products.

Pre-order updates

If you pre-ordered Draco, you would have received an email stating that team UVify are working around the clock to get the pre-orders to customers as quickly as possible. Our target was to have all pre-orders shipped to customers by the end of July. Unfortunately, due to some delays with our packaging third party, this will not be possible. Draco is ready to go and we are shipping 1/3 of pre-orders out and will continue to prepare other orders for shipping as well. Unfortunately, until we have the packaging components we will be limited to the quantity we can dispatch and the rate at which we do so.

Team UVify are working with their partners to get this issue rectified as soon as possible and will continue to do so until it is resolved. Team UVify is a small, yet passionate team which is committed to releasing the best products that we can. This means we will not ship our products until we are 100% happy with it. Of course, Team UVify are aware this is both disappointing and frustrating to those who have backed us from the beginning. We are looking at ways to keep the delays to an absolute minimum and will continue to ship out orders as and when we have the packaging to do so. If you have any questions regarding the delay, please contact us at support@uvify.com and a member of our team will assist you. It’s important to note that we do not charge you until Draco has shipped, so you have not been charged for Draco unless this has happened.

We will keep you updated as regularly as possible on the situation and will be posting another blog update in a weeks time.

Draco is shipping!

UVify Draco Shipping

The team at UVify are pleased to announced that the UVify Draco has begun it’s first batch of shipping. It’s been a while since we’ve provided an update on our blog, so team UVify wanted to share it here first! Draco has come a long way since Winning “Best Drone” of CES 2017. The team have worked hard to improve an already fantastic design. If you saw the press shots from CES 2017, you’d of noticed there were 2 different frames – one for Analog Draco and one for HD. Thanks to the hard work of our engineering team, there is now one chassis for both variants. This means that you will be able to switch Draco from analog to HD by purchasing an upgrade kit rather than paying out for 2 Draco’s – amazing!

Finally, team UVify just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who pre-ordered Draco. The team appreciate you have been patient and are totally confident that you’ll love Draco!
